No they beat them initially because they were a modern mechanized military not afraid to rape, torture, murder, indiscriminately and the Chinese had spears, swords and crap like that....Don't count JASDF out too soon. they may not be the BTK killers the grandpas were but they train like there is no tomorrow and they know if the Chicoms get going there won't be! Plus they have all US technology ungraded with those little Japanese gadgets....
