Public Policy Polling: Obama/Bush Nearly Divided

Quote:
Americans are now pretty evenly divided about whether they would rather have Barack Obama or George W. Bush in the White House. 48% prefer Obama while 46% say they would rather have the old President back.
The strategy in the fall for the dems is to run against Bush.

I love that strategy...go for it.

Never thought I'd miss Bush, but yeah. I have to admit I do now.

I don't. He paved the way for what we have now.

I miss Reagan. We should clone him and give the scientists something constructive to do.

At the end of the day, people appreciate a genuine person. Barack Obama is not genuine. From blaming others, to taunting big government opposition, to soaring rhetoric that no man could possibly achieve, Obama is nothing but a facade and people are recognizing it. George W. Bush was genuine. You knew where he stood and he had no problem accepting responsibility for the job that he was elected to do.

Note to liberals: Whiners need not apply for the position of President of the United States of America. Hopefully you're learning that lesson. If not, you'll find out in November when Obama's agenda is derailed wholly and completely.

Gotta admit though he needs an award for teleprompter reading. You almost believe he means what he reads.

I don't miss GWB. Other than getting us into a war we could have done without, I have difficulty thinking of one constructive legacy he left us with.

Note to conservatives: There's an old adage: "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched."
