The tea party isn't run by anybody. There isn't a Michael Steele or Sarah Palin heading this up. Don't you get it yet? Not everyone in the tea party is going to agree with everyone else. There was an anti-abortion sign in one of the recent tea parties. WTF is up with that? That is even less of a tea party core value than being anti-war, because there's little in terms of fiscal responsibility involved.

Because the tea party represents me as an anti-spendaholic government, and it does not represent pro-war core values. Closing foreign bases is fiscally responsible and more in line with the spirit of tea party IMO than the folks showing up nowadays.
