Pennsylvania unemployment keeps creeping up. 8.8% in January, 8.9% for February, now 9% for March. Plus record forclosures. Wrong way, Obama.
So in other words you CAN'T show me a single case of new weekly unemployment claims that low combined with a high unemployment rate - so you are changing the subject.
LOL
Ken
So in other words, you CAN'T show me a single case supporting your wishful thinking. The weekly unemployment numbers are up, yet you appear to consider this a good thing.
Changing the subject? That is your entire strategy, as usual. When a liberal doesn't like the facts, attempt to change them.
There goes bob, posting the same news story in every "bad news" thread, to try to change the topic of them..
Perhaps it is because liberals just can't truthfully discuss a topic that they are opposed to or makes them look bad, so they have to try to change it.
The United States Unemployment Rate (http://www.miseryindex.us/urbymonth.asp - broken link)
I told you, it's just the way it is. If the number of new jobless claims gets down anywhere near 400,000 then the unemployment rate will be low - because they are RELATED. When new jobless claims are significantly above 450,000 then folks are finding it very hard to find jobs so they are signing up for unemployment in larger numbers. If the number of new jobless claims drops to about 450,000 or so then that's about the break even point between unemployment rising and falling - it's the THRASHING point between job loss and job growth. If it drops significantly below that level of 450,000 new weekly claims then folks are finding jobs VERY QUICKLY and consequently not as many are bothering to sign up for unemployment - and since folks are only likely to find jobs QUICKLY if the unemployment rate is LOW and demand for labor is HIGH, then a number such as 400,000 will really only happen under such conditions (low unemployment rate). Got it?
Your turn now.
If you still disagree with me then back up your claim and show me a time when new jobless claims were around 400,000 or so and unemployment was high - or you can fess up and admit you're wrong.
Waiting...
Ken
