Campaigning rhetorical excess is pretty standard, and both sides could not stand to a word by word review.
So, from my understanding, SCHIP bill isn't taxing your family or increasing your income tax, your payroll tax, or your capital gains tax - which are the tax issues most are concerned with and effected by.
Obama math----tax cuts while spending us into the grave. Who is going to pay for his spending? DUH, we aren't stupid. There is no money tree growing in our yards, we will have to come up with the money somehow.

PorkBusters organized, complained, lobbied and tried to reduce congressional spending. If you're not aware of the PorkBusters then you weren't paying attentioin. If you weren't paying attention, you don't have a question.
According to my math, thats ~$15 per two week paycheck for an individual. On the nationwide/macro level, that adds up to alot of money. But on the individual/micro level, does the President really expect people to recognize such a small amount - to the point that he'd actually feel compelled to brag about it?
