Gun law

On May 1, 1982 the city passed an ordinance [Sec 34-1a] requiring every head of household to maintain a firearm together with ammunition. It was passed partly in response to a 1981 handgun ban in Morton Grove, Illinois. Kennesaw's law was amended in 1983 to exempt those who conscientiously object to owning a firearm, convicted felons, those who cannot afford a firearm, and those with a mental or physical disability that would prevent them from owning a firearm. It mentions no penalty for its violation. No one has ever been charged under the ordinance.[4] In the first year, home burglaries dropped from 65, to 26 in 1983, to 11 in 1984.[5]

Dude, I'm asking how Obama is trying to take our guns away. The protest the other day was not about a law passed in 1968. And speaking of which, 42 years have passed, and I still have my Walther. You're going to have to do better than that.

Federal. FEDERAL. Read the OP. Furthermore, I asked for evidence of taking our guns AWAY, not restricting their use.

Yeah, and how does the State of Okie Dokie figger to get around the Commandment, "thou shalt not steal"?

Are they going to abolish all State taxes?

You just proved your profile name is accurate. This is not an answer to the question about what had already passed in relation to anti-gun laws. You just expressed fear of the future. Try again.
