Seen Egypt lately.

Records tell of a vast green area of massive crops. Now it is dust and pyramids.

Their cars caused it.

Oh for the love of god!

The danger isn't in the CO2 itself, it's the rapid environmental change itself and unpredictable ways that it happens. Even IF it made the world greener and evenly tropical, the effects would be catastrophic for a huge portion of the world's life. I've lived in the Amazon; they don't call it the "green hell" for nothing...

Besides, I like meat...and meat grows just fine in the current climate.

Those who regard snatch as thatch are the most unlikely to find the meat.

Ya the climate has changed. Did you see where the ice use to come down to the US Canadian border? Want it back? I'll take the heat over the cold any day.

There's a pretty good article from the NYT here:

the NYT profile of Dyson should be a must read for anyone who ever uses the word "consensus" concerning science.

would you like to engage in a discussion of exactly what impact CO2 has?

we can consider the range of absorption that CO2 has relative to other green house gasses.

we can consider the percent of the total green house gases CO2 makes up.

we can consider the rate of warming we have experienced and place that in context with the two previous areas for consideration....

you first.
