Football players face drug charges | theadvertiser.com | The Advertiser
They were arrested for growing pot. The idiots were growing the pot plants on their apartment balcony where everyone could see them growing.

Yes, there are "idiots" who act freely while harming no one. Gotta' love American "justice".

  1. no matter your feelings on pot, it is still illegal to grow, possess, and smoke pot
  2. these college football players should have known that it is illegal
  3. thus, if you know it's illegal do do something, you don't do it out in public view for all the world, including police and nosey neighbors, to see.
  4. most pot growers are smart enough to know this is illegal so they grow their plants in green houses, basements, or spare rooms inside their home.

Points taken. I choose to live freely and peacefully not by the "rules" created by the thugs in society. I cannot call someone an "idiot" for doing things that they have a natural right to do regardless of what the tyrants decide by whim.

That people should have to "hide" victimless "crimes" is insane.

"Natural right"?

Do individuals have a "natural right" to own fully automatic weapons, though they never discharge them?

Can individuals possess pipe bombs if they don't use them?

Sure why not? Why would you initiate force upon someone who has done nothing to you?

*edit* What right do you have to initiate force upon someone who has done you nothing to you?

Haha..That story is kind of funny. I saw something similar in college. My college had a huge agriculture program with something like 500 acres behind the school. Guess what they did???

There's no law against growing marijuana in open view - I looked it up in the Constitution.

The law only prohibits Government from seizing marijuana plants from U.S. citizens. (See the 5th Amendment under "takings" and tokings)

Cute response but a bit like the growers of the marijuana who probably thought they could get by with it because of who they were.

As to your reply, maybe you need to know that the Constitution along with treaties are the Supreme Law of the Land. However, any law that is not unconstitutional is a part of the law and nobody has, yet, got a court to declare that marijuana law unconstitutional. It has been tried, however.

You are falsely trying to use the Constitution in other than the way it was intended to be used. It is just basic.
