You'd see about a million people having a tax protest party if this was seriously discussed, all of them outside the White House and all over DC.

Remember anytime B.O. opens his mouth he's lying. If he says anything is an option you can best believe he plans to do it. Unless it has anything to do with less taxes and more freedom from government intervention. Then he doesn't.

Watched Geithner this morning, and he said that the President isn't interested in the VAT. He said they aren't taking anything off the table, because the budget must be balanced, but they aren't leaning towards that option.
