Whether I have black friends or not is irrelevant to this discussion.

As long as someone like Bertha Lewis is the partner that Barack Obama finds suitable to do business with, yes, you are absolutely correct. I do not support such programs.

There are decent, well-meaning people out there who are far better suited for the head of such a role. Bertha Lewis is not that person. The fact that liberals here don't have a problem with Bertha Lewis is very telling.

Who would doubt it?
YEAH RIGHT! Where does ACORN get the money to do the things that they do, like bus people into polling places or go around and hold seminars and meetings. They don't "make" any money so where does it come from?

More deflection. In your world, ACORN's socialistic agenda is rooted in everything BUT housing. How convenient, Saganista! ACORN is able to compartmentalize their entire agenda as soon as they receive a HUD grant!

Sorry pal. Wax poetic as much as you like. It may make a few people on this forum teary-eyed. As for me, I'll fight against people like Bertha Lewis until the end of time. Bet on it.
And I want you to fight against the ideas of people like Bertha Lewis if you don't agree with them. I just want you to take a look at your post that I responded to, and tell me that you were making an argument against her ideas, rather than demonizing liberals. Honestly.

I stand by my comment, specifically because it was in response to the liberal who earlier stated that he/she needed to see some proof that Barack Obama has openly stated his undying support for ACORN. Anyone who's been paying attention knows that ACORN is wrought with problems. (Prostitutes anyone? Tax liens anyone?) When that video was posted, it was clear and unwavering evidence that Barack Obama does indeed have undying support for a corrupt organization. He said so himself. Although I did generalize, I make no apologies because of the proliferation of equally undying support and defense for ACORN exhibited right here on this forum. Those liberals that support such a corrupt organization should be embarrassed to even consider dignity as one of their foregoing qualities.

It's called principle, DC. And those that stand up in defense of a corrupt organization and its divisive leader obviously have none.

So you stood four-square behind Obama and ACORN until 2008 when Bertha Lewis came along, is that about right? Or did you hate them just as bad back in those days also?

I can't think of a decent, well-meaning person who has actually bought into the Republican smears of ACORN and the people they represent. Which are one in the same in most cases. Bald-faced lies intended to suppress the vote of a group that doesn't often vote Republican just because it doesn't often vote Republican. Contemptible. A harkening back to an era of disgrace in America...an era that should have been long over by now...

Wow, I bet you will get paid extra for that lie you just spewed forth.
