Does the government rule the people?

Or

Do people rule the government?

USA, I'm kinda torn. At this time in space, it sure seems like the government is ruling.
Will the people have a voice come November?

China, is pretty self explaining... Pretty sure the government rules the people.

Cuba, uhhh, government rules, again.

Those were easy. Lets look at Britain... The UK.
Guess what, the government rules the people there, too!

So a once proud nation, where the people ruled the government, has moved closer and closer to the government ruling the people.
The evidence of this is too transparent.

Will the people have a voice come November?

Who Rules the US?

In this country the PROPER PEOPLE rule the government. It is just that the rest of the population know as the people don't have anything to do with the real rulers of the government. The real rulers are the relatively few that are the families that own the banks that own the corporations that have figured out how to get the government to work for them instead of the rest of us.

They have successfully created the myth that what is good for the financiers is good for everybody. That myth is followed by convincing many people that the Republican Party cares one whit about anyone but the financial core of their membership. The fact that they have convinced working people that electing Republicans will do them any good is one of the most effective big lies of all time.

The same applies to most of the rest of the world but is much more blatant and obvious.

Ideally, the government is "the people," not a separate entity, and thus the people rule themselves.

Votes mean nothing in a system that has the power to enforce particular interests or initiate force. Once the system has the power to create special interest law, it will ever more only legislate the system's interest. Human freedom and "government" by definition are contradictory. Any form of government has those who make the rules and those that suffer under the rules. In actual terms, there is nothing different between anarchy and modern "society". Now instead of gangs of thugs ruling over the weak, we have gangs of thugs wearing suits ruling over the weak and strong alike.

In other words... it's the old saying "money talks and bull**** walks."

Yet, I don't hear the Democrats, or the GOP for that matter, clamoring for the abolition of the Central Bank, the end to partial-reserve banking, or the return to Constitutional currency from the "progressives"....I wonder why that is?

Perhaps because they realize that this is the 21st Century and commerce is global, in short, we don't trade chickens for a new hoe any more.
