I'm not sure if this guy is a member of any Tea Party but you have to admit he is a strange individual.
What the heck was he trying to accomplish imitating a police officer? That's a scary thought that he could of possibly got within striking distance of the Pres.
Yeah sure..everybody dresses up like a cop and asks to see the president. This guy was either up to no good, has mental issues, or both....it was correct to treat him as threat.
I don't disagree with that but the OP's thread title is flat out assinine.
An armed man who was arrested at a North Carolina airport just after President Barack Obama left the state is to appear before a judge.
Officials say he was never near the president.
You can all stop frothing at the mouth and assuming things he was 1. never near the president 2. He got there AFTER he had left so your messiah was never in any danger.3. You people need to chill with calling anyone who you dislike a tea party member. Hell personally I think being a part of the tea party is a great thing although I am not a tea party member.
1. There was no threat. From the article "The suspect was nowhere near the president's plane".
2. A lot of people monitor scanners as a hobby. A Google search turned up 5.8 million hits.
3. The article did not mention if his gun was concealed but NC does have reciprocity with Ohio - http://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov/f...Reciprocity-Ag
4. My college roommate had strobe lights and a siren in his Mustang because he was a volunteer fire fighter.
5. Having a weapon the airport parking lot is legal in most states. I haven't checked on NC though.
6. No mention if the suspect had attended any Tea Party rallies.
7. He may have had scope settings in his car but no mention of a rifle. If you look in my car, you will find anything from targets to loose ammo under the seats. Nothing illegal for either of us.
I think the OP has come to some incorrect conclusions.
I'm not seeing the threat here...Obama wasn't even there. The guy was not in a secured area but a rental car parking lot open to the public. He wasn't anywhere near where AF1 had been. ??
LOL eagle7, maybe this guy wanted Obama to teach him how to be a better teabagger?

Just the usual leftist smear tactic. Unbelievable how terrified they are of tea partiers these days, there's basically no limit to how low they'll go to attack them.
You mean like the rightist smear tactic like "communist", "socialist", "Marxist", "Muslim", etc, etc, etc.
If a person acts like a tea bagger, talks like a tea bagger and walks like a tea bagger they must be tea baggers.

Agreed. Using a derisive term for homosexuals when there is no proof one way or the other is way out of line.
