Economists say the stimulus didn't help - Apr. 26, 2010

Like we needed a panel of Economists to tell us this when it is so obvious. And I can venture a very easy conclusion that this will hurt us more in the long run too.

What a suprise! $1 more trillion pissed away. I would have been alot happier if they would have bought a cool car or a new gun with it, rather than just wasting the trillion.

The unemployment rate did not reach 50% and three quarters of the banks did not fail so I conclude the stimulus did work quite well. It was a well spent trillion even if it may require a trillion or so more.

Well, I say the stimulus worked quite well because giant locusts didn't come through the sky ravaging the farmers' lands, nor did large UFOs come out of the sky and destroy our major cities. $1Trillion to prevent that worked quite well.

This is NOT a surprise. Not one of the goals set out by obama before the stimulus was signed into law has come to fruition.

Of course, you can bet he will try to fudge those UE numbers to make it seem like we have created jobs.

Really?

I didn't realize those where targets of the stimulus. Who ever said the stimulus would prevent UE from going over 50% (a silly assertion)?

Obama did promise with the $1 trillion bill that UE would NOT go over 8% - FAIL.

Obama did promise by the end of this year, he would create 3-4 million jobs - FAIL.

A trillion or so more you say?

Amazing how the Left is all too willing nowadays to tolerate massive deficits that result from democrat policies.

Bush deficit of $500 Billion = bad, bad, bad.

obama deficit of $19 TRILLION = good, very good.

Libbies don't need facts. Obama did it so it absolutely has to be a wonderful and historic thing. Just ask a libbie.

Yes, he sneaks into Bureau of Labor Statistics Command Headquarters once a month and changes the numbers
