The only individuals proving they are dumb as a box of rocks, are those who dont understand that "census" = poll, thereby relevant to the mailing which gets sent out.

Default Oh, I love those.

All I have to do is drop the empty return envelope in the mail and the RNC is out the cost of postage. Send more!

Much ado about nothing. Seriously, this is a non-issue. Surely there is something out there more newsworthy.

Thats exactly what the mailing is.. a poll, a statistic, used to determine the demoghraphics of the supporters..

This might indeed be an issue, but no way shape or form is this a "phony census" mailer.. Anyone with intelligence can easily tell that by looking at both the evenlope, and the survey enclosed.. (which they conveniently dont provide a copy of)..
Oh c'mon! It was meant to be misleading, so it'd get opened! Otherwise, people would probably just toss it.

Unless you're a registered Republican I doubt you'll get one.

Although my oldest daughter did get one a few weeks ago from the MD State Democratic Central Committee.

Then you're a registered Republican? Unless the AZ Republican Party is flush I doubt they'd waste the money sending fund raising letters to non-Republicans.

They broke the law. They knowingly broke the law. They used the Federal mails to break the law. They should be arrested. Now, let's see if they are. After all, if some 13 year old kid broke a window they'd be hollering that the kid should be locked up. So lock these criminals up.
