I wouldn't care--as long as the rent was affordable. What happened in the past is past.

I wonder if the people down the street from me realize the reason the garage has fresh concrete is because that's where the guy buried his mother when he killed her. He killed his father and planted him in the back yard in another home near as well.

I believe in many communities it is a requirement that real estate agents disclose such information. Some require that it be disclosed upfront, others require it be disclosed only IF the buyer asks about such events surrounding the house.

I always ask.

To answer the question: No, I would not knowingly live in such a place. However, it doesn't bother me to live in an old house just because people likely had died there over the years, as long as I didn't know how it happened.

Of course I would. I have no concerns whatsoever about being haunted by ghosts, spirits, souls, or other imaginary beings.

It depends. If they were good people, I'd doubt they'd bother you if their spirits remained. But maybe if they were really messed up, disturbed, low life types, it would be a different story.
But a house like Dahmer's or John Wayen Gacey's, .... too creepy. That type of negative energy especially with them now being dead would be on your mind too much.
I'd also have no problems living next to a cemetary. Although there are a few that give off some unfriendly vibes. Not from being cemetaries, more like being located in lonely brooding places.

So long as I was not the victim.

I remember that when I was in high school there was a murder down the street. The family that moved in after got a like $200,000 house for $50,000--they paid cash, no mortgage.

So yes, I definitely would!

Ghosts are not real. The mystical power of money is real. Superstition can be profitable even in Real Estate.

He's dead now, but I wouldn't want to rely on someone, school principal or not, who decided to have an exorcism of his house.
