Today, it is involved in making grants to radical environmental causes, "social justice" groups, and other leftist causes. Barrack Obama was recently on the Board of Directors, and it was Barrack Obama that initially secured the funding for CCX.
The Climate Exchange bills itself as "a financial institution whose objectives are to apply financial innovation and incentives to advance social, environmental and economic goals", and "The Worlds First and North America's Only Greenhouse Gas Emissions Registry, Reduction and Trading System". In other words "Cap 'n Trade". They sell and trade "carbon offsets"
AS reported on Fox News Channel (for you leftists: Why is no other News organization reporting this?), in 2006 Goldman Sachs, whose many former officers now serve in the Obama administration, ponied up to purchase 10 percent of the combined company, and they stand to make millions, if not billions off this investment. So, they aren't too worried about a little slap on the wrist by the administration, which we now realize is just for "show" to convince the American people that they are on our side (not).
But back to the Joyce Foundation. This Foundation also funds the Tides Foundation, and has been providing grants to John Ayers (brother of William Ayers, domestic terrorist, and friend of Barrack Obama).
Franklin Raines, who at the time was CEO of Fannie Mae, and found guilty of accounting fraud in that organization, purchased the patent on the trading system, which was approved by the U.S. Patent and Trade Office on Nov. 7, 2006.
If you find all this interesting, please do some further research. These people are all in bed with one another, and none of them have our interests at heart.

Sorry. This isn't "the American way". This isn't "capitalism". This is corruption of the worst sort. This is Enron all over again. This is worse than Enron, and the Federal Government is involved in this scam. Barrack Obama is involved in this scam, and Fannie Mae is involved in this scam.
These are the people who caused the current crisis we are in, and they are allowed to continue by a "press" that will not do the job the Constitution gives them the freedom to do, and the founders expected them to do.
