Of course, in Stewart's clip, he leaves out the preceding few minutes of Fox. That's the part where Fox is speaking about a column by Michael Goodwin, who noted the crescent Nuclear Summit logo. Fox is simply reporting on a theory advanced by a columnist..not advancing that theory. See the difference?

I also see that Stewart didn't mention the one-on-one interview that Cavuto did with the Georgia President during the summit. Guess that's too much like real reporting by Fox...can't let THAT get around!

But Stewart called the White House to find out the facts, rather than advance speculation with the goal of planting suspicion and worry in the minds of his viewers. See the difference?!

He doesn't make fun of the ridiculous actions of Obama because of his fan base. It is all about ratings...I understand that.
He has made fun of Obama several times for example when Stewart made fun of Obama for using teleprompters to talk to school children. Do you remember that one? You obviously do not watch the show enough.

Again, I am not giving a magic bullet for the show. I am talking about the overarching theme. The demographic it is reaching for.

Since you seem to have the answers, what demographic do you think the daily show is trying to reach?

Demographic as far as age? They are reaching a younger democraphic. The shows main purpose is to be funny not to have any type of political agenda.

Describe his ideal audience.

So you disagree that his ideal audience leans more left than right?

Do not confuse comedy with news.
It's just a comedian making fun of other comedians, what's the problem?
