Pandemonium broke out in Ukraine's parliament with punches, eggs and smoke bombs being thrown during a debate over a contentious treaty extending Russia's lease of a Black Sea navy base.
Thousands of opposition demonstrators rallied outside the parliament building as deputies from newly elected President Viktor Yanukovich's coalition approved a 25-year extension to the Russian Black Sea Fleet's base in Crimea.
The chamber of the parliament filled with smoke as smoke bombs were released and Speaker Volodymyr Litvyn took shelter under several umbrellas as eggs rained down on him.
I just read that a little while ago. Wild and crazy country, huh? Maybe we should introduce that method of disagreement to our own Congress. At least for our money we'd get some entertainment.

If Dems did it: look how uncivil and violent these people are. Tyrants using strongarm Chicago thug tactics.
If Reps did it: this is a means of upholding our democracy. They're simply fighting tyrants like the forefathers wanted
This would only occur in a country where the saying no-guts-no-glory is taken to heart.
We can only view such happenings, in other parts of the world, with embarrassment and unrealized fantasies.
