I for one think the taxes are too high, when it comes to where I see it go. I have no say in where they are spent and a bigger government is not where I want my taxes to go, I would like to see more of it stay in my community, county, and state than have it go to the feds who have proven they can not spend it wisely. I think the government operating in the red just so they can say hey we have low taxes is not a good idea because they will have to get $ from somewhere sometime to finally make ends meet. So I do not care if they raise my taxes as long as I have some say in where the money goes.

It's the nuisance taxes and indirect taxes where they really get you, they never go away and a lot of times you might not even know what or how much you're paying.

Gas tax will be going up soon, they haven't raised it in like 2 decades and it's not a percentage.
