I guess the "big, bad, terrible, nasty, inefficient, money wasting, always in our business" Federal government is not looking too bad this morning, eh Bobby? If the "states should be left alone" to identify problems, and "competition is the best solution for all problems", then I guess the President can stop using the US Coast Guard and recall the secretaries of Interior and Homeland Security and LA can handle that oil spill themselves.

Oh, and don't forget to send the bill for all this to your good buddies at British Petroleum. With their record I'm sure they won't mind paying the bill for cleaning up their mess. And if they refuse to pay, well as you and your cronies are always preaching, "the states should be left alone"

Oh, and that "emergency Federal assistance" that you'll be looking for to help alleviate the loss of income in your fisheries and tourism industry. Bite me.

Yup, now the GOP wants the government. Before FDR, when there was a national disaster, the govt. did nothing. FDR changed that, the GOP is begging for aid while they still bash him and say how evil he was.
