The explosion being that close to Viacom is just too much of a coincidence to ignore. If it was a crazy islamic extremist, it shouldn't be too hard to bust them, though. They're fortunately not very bright people, but unfortunately get lucky every now and then.

The video "shows a white male in his 40s, in Shubert Alley, looking back in the direction of West 45th Street," Commissioner Ray Kelly told a news conference, adding that the man looked around in a "furtive manner."
"He also was seen shedding a dark-colored shirt, revealing a red one underneath. He put the darker one into a bag that he was carrying," he said. Police may have video of possible car bomb suspect - CNN.com
We all know why the terrorists target NYc ...
Because it doesn't have the capital penalty, even just on paper...
That's the shame for every New Yorker...
They become easy meat for mass murderers ( "terrorists ") & they cannot even reinstate actively the capital penalty.
They keep voting Cuomos & Bloombergs...
Wrong, Wrong, and Wrong.
They (who ever they might be) pick New York, because it is the center of MEDIA Coverage.
Instant headlines, instant 24/7 coverage.
Also, being ultra-densely populated, likely increases odds of high casualties if successful
Terrorism doesn't need casualties, it only needs to convey fear and intimidate.
The media amplifies everything, just look at the coverage with no casualties or explosion.

Sorry it would be a Federal crime don't you remember little Timmy taking the needle.
If it detonated in Times Square,it is a state matter, like the 9/11 & the murderers will not get a (non-existent) death sentence...
Only if you treat it like a crime and not part of an ongoing war against this country. This should not be treated at a criminal action nor should terrorists be tried in criminal courts.
