Obama treats dictators with more respect than our most important democratic allies. Why should conservatives give Obama a chance?

(It was the same thing for Bush but at least Bush got a break after 9/11)

The pressure in that job must be ENORMOUS!
Of course no conservative would ever give Obama a chance. Likewise, no liberal would ever give a conservative president a chance. The gaps in the ideology are usually too great, and even when they're not, people are too pig-headed to compromise; they always have to root for their "team". That's what being partisan is all about.

Oh BS, the sun hadn't even set on 9/11 before some lefties were hammering Bush for not jumping up in a panic and running out of the room full of kids at the school.

1. He has exploded the debt, leading us to the path of insolvency

2. opposes personal liberties and has become obsessed with maligning opposition talk show hosts and monitoring opposition internet chat.

3. sends thugs to break up opposition free assemblies

4. has granted Iran the nuclear bomb by inability to act

5. has alienated our allies and has embraced tyrants, such as Chavez and Castro

6. Has no energy policy whatsoever and refuses to expand domestic energy production, while having ZERO deve, opment of viable alternatives that can be available within the decade.

7. Has kept unemployment at 10% through failed economic policy. which blew $1 trillion on pork and created no new jobs

8. Has embraced Wall Street at the expense of Main Street and has bailed out the banks while letting individuals lose thier mortgages

9. Nationalized the healthcare industry, banking, and auto industries

10. Has continued to make statements about 'redistribution of wealth"

11. Supports citizenship for illegal immigrants at the expense of his own citizens
1. Bush started the debt explosion (Medicare Part D, TARP, War of Choice in Iraq, etc.)

2. Bush supported the Patriot Act of Surveillance and founded the Dept. of Homeland Security Cameras

3. Those Tea Party Rallies have been peaceful. Obama sending in the Black Panthers to beat up Glenn Beck loving grandmas? If so, then produce the video evidence.

4. Iran is not a threat to the U.S. They are a threat to Israel. Israel should handle their own problems and not rely on American soldiers and tax money to protect and serve them.

5. Yeah...Chavez and Castro are sure to take over America any day now.

6. Ummm, isn't Obama having to answer for EXPANDING drilling now that there has been a major oil disaster. Spill Baby, Spill!

7. So Obama is responsible for 10% unemployment but Clinton WAS NOT responsible for the budget surplus? So democrats are only responsible for the bad stuff and republicans are only responsible for the good stuff?

8. Now the line is that the liberal, socialist, communist anti-business Obama is Mr. Wall Street and loves cozying up to the fat cats of finance?!?! Now that is pure Twilight Zone material! THE BANK BAILOUT WAS IN NOVEMBER 2008 UNDER BUSH!

9. Study the Soviet Union from 1918 - 1921 if you want to see REAL NATIONALIZATION. Aetna, Wells Fargo and Ford are private corporations just to name a few.

10. Bush made statements about "Compassionate Conservatism" (2000) and "No Afghanistan nation building" (2001) and Saddam's WMD (2002) and so on and so forth. No problem with that?

11. Remember Bush's "Pathway to Citizenship"?

Any more points you may like me to rebut?

You mean kind of like when everything was George Bush's fault?
I'm a conservative, and I was willing to give Obama a chance, but I'm thinking he's in big trouble, and so are we all.

To be brutally honest, it's hard to support a man who espouses "Sharing the Wealth" taken by government force.

According to the Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted to secure rights and govern those who consent.

Forcibly taking property, via taxation, and giving it to another, is not what I would call "securing rights".

I will stipulate that consent, via enrollment into national socialism (FICA - 1935) is behind the "voluntary servitude", but most Americans are under the false assumption that the LAW requires their participation before they can work in their own country.

That means that since 1935, ALL PRESIDENTS are to blame, as are ALL CONGRESSES.

(Ironic that the Senator McCarthy was thought to be "anti-communist", while fully supporting all ten planks of the Communist manifesto enacted into law by the Congress.)
