Obama Criticizes Liberal Supreme Courts of ’60s and ’70s - NYTimes.com

Quote:
In a seeming rejection of liberal orthodoxy, President Obama has spoken disparagingly about liberal victories before the Supreme Court in the 1960s and 1970s — suggesting that justices made the “error” of overstepping their bounds and trampling on the role of elected officials.

from the article.
I think, is a conservative jurisprudence that oftentimes makes the same error.”

I do not see how criticizing conservative jurisprudence makes him Conservative on an issue.
I challenge again show me a issue where his stand is conservative and I would be behind him.
By the way I have said i supported his Afghanistan policy.
I do not feel i have to support him when i do not agree with him.
I have been called a racist , stupid and ignorant for that disagreeing with a policy.
I will support him when I agree with him, which is not many times

(It was the same thing for Bush but at least Bush got a break after 9/11)

The pressure in that job must be ENORMOUS!
Do you Feel that Conservatives Ever Gave Obama a Chance?

Od course not, why would they?

They had their war, their money, and were happily destroying the American middle class.....naturally they didn't want that to stop.....

To answer the thread title, in the case of most conservatives, "no". There was immediate rancor about every little thing he did. He took his wife out to NYC, the horror! He didn't respond quickly enough to the snowstorms in Kentucky (untrue). He worked in shirt sleeves (gasp!).

Of course not, they never gave him as much as a day in office before they started ganging up on him. Sad part is the GOP has no game plan other than to sling lies and mis-information. Nor did the GOP have the guts to mouth their crap themselves; they let buffoons like Limbaugh do it for them. Even Michael Steele felt a need to apologize to Limbaugh and eat dung. The GOP and many who call themselves conservatives have been totally inept for years. I could go on, but you get the point.

The main GOP / conservative views of why President Obama is a failure:
- He's black.
- Okay, he's "only" half black.
- Well, he sure isn't white like us all am. Maw, hand me anudder beer, the race is about to start up on the NASCAR netwirk.
- Beck told me so.

Everything involving Obama is a conspiracy theory, basically. Whatever he does there is some evil ulterior agenda behind it. Damned if he does, damned if he don't.

There is a vast sea of difference between liberal democrat and communist/socialist.........or is there? Only the "O" knows for sure
