Noooooooooooooooooooo.........I merely created a thread based on the hypocrisy of the homosexual community that likes to scream at those who don't agree with homosexuality, that they need to stay out of their bedroom, what goes on in their bedroom is non of our business.......all of which I agree emphatically, keep it in your bedroom and I will most definitely stay out!
why do you feel that this woman represents the ENTIRE gay and lesb community?
BUT, who went looking for the publicity in the first place? SHE DID! Who forced her to make a statement about her sexuality? NOBODY, SHE VOLUNTEERED THE INFORMATION, AND INTENDS TO GO ON NATIONAL TV AND DISCUSS IT!
MOST of the population just doesn't CARE!
However, her "revelation" DID accomplish one thing; up until it appeared on MSNBC, I didn't even know who she was, and the only radio stations I listen to are country stations!
So, now I know she is a single, white, female, homosexual, singer that I never heard of before.
Now I know about her, and I am still not impressed, still don't care.
She's the first country singer to come out of the closet, so that somehow is newsworthy. As a gay person, I really don't care myself. Now, if some of those hot guy singers came out...
The difference here is that "coming out" is a process for which there is no heterosexual equivalent. Straight people don't celebrate their being heterosexual except...every single moment of the day, only nobody bothers to notice! It's not newsworthy. Gay people have to come to grips with being different and coming out is the way to confirm and acknowledge that difference.
First off.....I'm not a lady. Second does Mike Piazza ring a bell? He held a press conference to state he was straight maybe five or six years ago. Daniel Johns of the band Silverchair did the same thing a couple years ago. So you are wrong yet again.
Hey Silas.......you are avoiding this post......so you say straights never publicly announce their heterosexuality? Amazing that facts run off the homophobes when they know they are incorrect or deliberately spreading lies and mis-truths.

I am avoiding it because it is nonsense and I cant waste time responding to the same ignorance over and over.............these guys coming out to announce they are hetero because of rumors they are homo? Hetero's are not the group screaming to stay out of their bedroom, what goes on in their bedroom is non of our business.

You stated that heterosexuals never announce they are straight or there's never a big deal over an announcement.....I gave you proof this is not true......but nice job trying to put a twist on it. You were wrong....just admit it and we can move on. Keep on trolling out those mis-truths, lies, and distortions and many of us will correct it.

It doesn't happen, I understand it is quite a celebration when a "celebrity" joins your ranks, but you cant have it both ways, "pun intended".

So, two of your posts have been the words, "Shut Up" and the emoticon of with nothing else. If you are going to act childish, why even post here? I know it must be frustrating to be proven wrong and have your character brought to light but the rude posts are not needed.
