You would think the conservatives would be dancing on the streets, but of course they won't admit that they are getting what they wanted.

http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/04/pf/taxes/bush_obama_tax_cuts/index.htm

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- They're often called the "Bush" tax cuts. But at this point they might as well be called the Bush-ama tax cuts.

That's because President Obama has embraced the tax relief measures introduced in 2001 and 2003, proposing they be extended indefinitely for most Americans. If lawmakers do nothing, the measures expire Dec. 31

Extending the tax cuts for most Americans will increase the federal deficit by an estimated $2.2 trillion over 10 years.

Everyone seems to be "hawkish" about deficit reduction, until it costs them money. Well, America, we can't have it both ways.

Exactly. That's why I added the "dancing on the streets" remark.

Conservatives always favor tax cuts, but now that they are reminded that the cuts cost money to future generations, they might not want to dance on the streets to celebrate Obama's tax cutting.

Wrong again.. Tax do not cost money.. SPENDING does.. Allowing people to SAVE their own money and SPEND it, generates both tax revenue, and economic stimulus..

Right because money in the government's hands does wonders for our future generations.

NO PG - The liberals believe the Government is much more astute then you or I at handling finances.

Cant you deduce that from the fiscal track record of the Government?

We would be so much better off handing over our hard earned dollars to them.

WOW

I have nothing against tax cuts, but when taxes are cut and spending is not, it crerates deficits. Get it? That was the problem with Bush, and now Obama will have the same problem since his approach is the same.

That is the point if the atricle and the thread.

So now you want people to take your thread seriously, after you announced that we should be "dancing in the street".
