Proponents of unpasteurized milk hope a victory in "America's Dairyland" will encourage other states to legalize sales and make it more available nationwide.
Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle has indicated he will sign a bill the Legislature passed late last month allowing farms to sell raw milk directly to consumers through 2011.
The government has regulated everything to take the good and healthy away from us. I spent alot of time as a child on a dairy farm and fresh milk was great. My Aunt and Uncle ended getting out of the business when they were being ordered to dump their milk.
I guess one day we might go to the grocery store and find breast milk in a carton, instead of teet milk you get t!t milk. I crack myself up.. Hey did anyone see the movie Kingpin, ya know the scene where Munson milks a bull, and ends up with a moustache.... this will probably get deleted
It's funny that everything good for us is now bad. My Aunt and Uncle who farmed most of their life, used fresh milk, real butter and all the other things bad for us. Both lived along time. She was 89 and he was 92. I've heard the same from alot of farming families.
Good. Lets get rid of those nasty health care benefits of pasteurizing milk and making it safe and affordable for millions. While we're going back to the old days, lets dump polio and small pox vaccines too. Life was so much interesting watching our kids get sick.
