The fact that he and the left wing loons are strongly opposed to the law nearly proves that it is the right thing to do.

Perhaps Al could cough up a few million for all the costs Arizona is incuring due to the illegals?
Thank you so much, could not have said it any better myself! and how true. Who would pay attention to what Shapton has to say, unless people are loon's like him. He clearly sticks his nose, where it should not be, but that is OLD NOSY AL SHARPTON. And just how many times has he been right! This should prove if he is against this law passing, it is the right thing to do, please see that.

It is an insane liberal three ring circus, with Barry Obama as the ring master. How more absurd can this tool get!!!!!!!! It would be funny as hell if he were not the POTUS.
Well said. And thanks for bringing up theTawana Brawley debacle in you other post. I had forgotten that woman's name. Now there a scandal for you. How does Al get away with these things?

And your right, Obama is the ring master in a taudry time in U.S politics, and a new low.

And so we learn, yet one more time, that the escapades of the Tawana Brawley incident did absolutely nothing to discredit Al Sharpton.

Al's not the brightest guy in the world. Wonder if he'll go after California next:

California politicians have been especially vocal with some cities advocating a boycott of Arizona businesses which only hurts small companies and their employees. Yet no one has noted that California has a similar statute to that of Arizona when an arrest is made and law enforcement suspects the person may be in the country illegally. The obligations of law enforcement are clearly spelled out in the California Penal Codes Section 833-851.9, in particular section 834b. The language of the California statute states:
  • “Every law enforcement agency in California shall fully cooperate with the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service regarding any person who is arrested if he or she is suspected of being present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws.”
The statute then goes on to specify the procedures required by law enforcement officials if they suspect the person is an illegal immigrant:
  • “Attempt to verify the legal status of such person as a citizen of the United States, an alien lawfully admitted as a permanent resident, an alien lawfully admitted for a temporary period of time or as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of immigration laws. The verification process may include, but shall not be limited to, questioning the person regarding his or her date and place of birth, and entry into the United States, and demanding documentation to indicate his or her legal status.
  • Notify the person of his or her apparent status as an alien who is present in the United States in violation of federal immigration laws and inform him or her that, apart from any criminal justice proceedings, he or she must either obtain legal status or leave the United States.”

Al doesn't know a damn thing about illegal immigration and its decades-long repercussions anymore than our politicians and law-makers. Has HE spent time in the agricultural regions where illegal immigration originates??? Has HE spent time co-existing with illegals??? Has HE spent time honing up on immigration laws??? (Oops! Forgot! He's a politician! Or, at least, a "wannabe".) Has HE done his homework in studying what out-of-control border crossing has ensued ~ many criminals, healthcare and "special" services, and more of them than there are jobs for (but he probably thinks they all work the fields).

Does he want to compare today's illegal immigration to the immigrations of "his" people? They were brought here against their will; sorry, but there is absolutely NOTHING in common between the two.

Friggin' moron! I hope Arizona makes it so hard on him that he'll never return.
