As the result, one side of what passes for current public debate is actually a total sham and charade -- a cheap, tinny imitation of actual public discourse.
Yep they are always wrong. Meanwhile, down here on Planet Earth, just about everything they said would happen with your hero's policies DID happen or are about to happen.

Well, with Beck at least, there is the lying, paranoia, hysteria, and stupidity to object to as well.

The latter (note I had deleted your reference to your own mother when quoting). Sure, but if I were a mother I would be happier if I got a surprise gift any day of the year rather than on those few standard occasions like Mother's Day, Christmas etc. I would stand up in the morning and think to myself, so, what will it be this year?

Oooh! That will quickly turn into an example of marginal utility theory. Right-wing opponents of progressive taxation had better not try this at home...

Feeble. By the way, "the great preponderance" does not imply "always", but way to round everything off to either black or white. That's what all sophisticated thinkers do. Nice list of examples, too...very convincing. Oh, and "everything" takes the singular...everything is, not everything are...

Well, I don't think it's "sad" that my kids have chosen to do something nice for me on Mother's Day. That doesn't mean they don't do nice things at other times of the year. Jeez!

The Nascar crowd has come out in force for the extreme Right wing agenda, for that they take the hit. Beck fits right in with the Sister Sara/Michelle B. folks, may have different agendas, but they all have less than a tank full.
