FACT: The great preponderance of what the right-wing tries to pass off as thinking and analyis actually boils down to a collection of lies, distortions, and misrepresentaions that are then clubbed and mangled into forming false, corrupt, invalid, and entirely preselected conclusions. As the result, one side of what passes for current public debate is actually a total sham and charade -- a cheap, tinny imitation of actual public discourse.

Sure, but if I were a mother I would be happier if I got a surprise gift any day of the year rather than on those few standard occasions like Mother's Day, Christmas etc. I would stand up in the morning and think to myself, so, what will it be this year?

Well, I don't think it's "sad" that my kids have chosen to do something nice for me on Mother's Day. That doesn't mean they don't do nice things at other times of the year. Jeez!
