Democrats and Republicans appear in public on a regular basis.
Seems that god hasn't made any appearances in the past couple thousand years. And those were limited to the middle east. Judging by the condition of that part of the world, he didn't leave all that good an impression.
Since man invented god, he can be - and is - what ever you want him / her to be. He can be muslim, hindu, christian, etc etc - each thinking his is the real version. Left wingers like him and say he would be doing more wealth redistrubution as it is the moral thing to do. Right winger will take the same redistribution and call it stealing and say god would not approve. Figments of imagination can be whatever one can imagine them to be.
Not sure if this is the right section as its political and religious.
Was thinking he/she/it could be Democrat as he is like the ultimate big government and is our ultimate saviour and we are just the children to be tended and looked after..
Or he/she/it could be Republican because although he/she/it is all powerful we are certainly left to run our own destinies with little intervention.
Or would he/she/it be something else..
God today is probobly more Republican than democrat and i dont mean that as a compliment.
I'm assuming the OP placed this thread with more than a little sarcasm but I will answer anyhow!
God is obviously neither a democrat or republican. God loves all people equally and hopes we will follow and obey him.
If you have ever read the Old Testament you will see that many men of the Bible disobeyed God's plan for them but he still loved them.
I am sure he is not pleased with so many things going on with his people today on both sides.
But IMO republicans try to honor his plan and are more representative what the Bible teaches.
I'm pretty sure that human politics would be irrelevent to the all powerful force behind our universe.

Whomever had the idea of this existence is so much more than anyone of us could possibly imagine. While I see the 'tongue-in-cheek' of this thread, obviously some show their true colors in seriousness. Now, it's easy to see those of us who really think they're something more than what they are.

It's all simply a matter of choice of how we treat each other. So far, it isn't good.
Practice random acts of kindess. Every little bit helps.
