"""Men are smarter than women"......

This shouldn't be controversial at all since it's not true....and there is the entire history of the world to prove it.....but I'm sure the misogynist will come out the wood work to bask in the fake glow.

Some of the posts in this thread are funny. Thanks for the laughs.

On a serious note, does it really matter if one sex is smarter than the other? IMO, it's probably equal. There are a lot of smart men, a lot of smart women, and equal numbers of stupid people in both sexes.

One sex compliments the other, and creates balance. Without balance, we are all hopelessly lost and even the brainiac's can figure that one out.

As long as people treat one another with respect, and ideas are allowed to flourish and come to fruition, that's all the matters. Who thought of it doesn't matter, it's whether or not the idea works, that does.

Most women are smart enough to get their own way.

I don't know what I find more problematic, that you were perusing the dailymail or that you are so quick to give credence to Richard Flynn.

I guess here and now it is impossible to seriously discuss such a topic, unless the outcome is that both sexes are equally intelligent.

The article also said there were more stupid men than women. Most women will agree with that part of the article.

It depends on whether men or women design the IQ tests

We tend to assume that the goal is to be as intelligent as possible, but I don't think that is necessary in order to be successful, from nature's point of view.

smart is as smart does..and dumb is as dumb does, no matter what your brain is doing with hormones, etc. I am a woman, and I have spoken ! Smart men will agree with me. Dumb women will tell me that I am dead wrong. let the fun begin.
