Never seen an Irish Flag at a St. Patrick's Day celebration here in Austin, or in New Orleans, or Vegas

Columbus Day here, is just a paid day off work for those that are government workers. If there is a celebration, it is small.

Probably not, Irish and Italian people are not as easily identified by sight. After all, it could be someone you have been having coffee with for years and actually have talked with.

Is the tea party the only thing you know how to think about?
What rage you must have inside over people who have ideas of there own.
People constantly tearing into Fox news and the tea party seem to be control freaks.

You have to wonder about these newbees that come in here with seemingly one agenda. I had a friend request from a 12 yr old! I see these stupid post and threads mostly on the weekends when school is out. This is probably another one. Momie and daddy should watch their kids better.

Are the Irish and Italians comming here illegally and excpecting use to change our culture and policy to meet their needs? No? Then there's no problem. I do have a problem with people coming here illegally, not willing to learn the majority language (English), and expect special favors from the legal citizens and government in order to cater to their needs as they march in the street to protest while waiving the Mexican flag as they're saying they want to be legal citizens. You might want to see this video to see the true face of LaRaza and the Mexican movement.

They blend in because the Irish left their charming lilt back on the Emerald Isle and the Italians actually took the immense trouble to learn and adopt the English language.
