100% agree, unless it is hurting someone, what you or I do in our bedroom is private and no one else's business.

hey, not all of us who are past 50 think it is wrong. I happen to be one that feels it is no one else's business what one does in his/her bedroom. Do I understand it? Absolutely know, am I uncomfortable with what probaly goes on, yes, to a degree, but I don't say "it's always wrong" and these stupid polls are as wrong.

Actually, it says "50% of Americans say homosexuality should be accepted by society" which seems to be about right. I'd change that in the thread title.

Color me surprised- old church ladies are grossed out by sex, and doubly grossed out by gay sex! Woah, no way!

How come the poll has two "never wrong" choices?

I don't believe it is rude or arrogant to not embrace homosexuality as normal. I believe it is a mental disorder, a sexual perversion and was only declassified because of political pressure. All that changed was some paperwork.
Actually, I don't agree w/any person, whether they're gay or not, insisting that someone who is so against homosexuality is a closet homosexual. I'm sure in some cases it's true, but not in all.

What I do have a problem with is the disgust with which some people show towards other human beings simply because those people are not attracted to who is deemed appropriate by that other group. I've come across some people who either do not believe in homosexuality or they simply do not like it, however they do understand that not everyone is alike & that they have no reason to view that person in such a distasteful manner.

I saw one of your posts on that topic about Elton John being banned from Saudia Arabia or wherever it was from. Your response, even though you said you liked his music, was "Wise decision." You really think a country banning people simply because the government deems them as undesirable is a wise decision? That's loathesome. I tend to disagree w/many ultra-conservatives or christians yet even though I don't agree w/their viewpoints on others, I would never think it would be a wise decision for a country to ban them simply because of the way they are. I find your viewpoint on homosexuals to be totally disgusting....should it be appropriate to ban someone such as yourself because I view your attitude or even behavior as reprehensible?

It's usually just a pot shot. But I'm sure there are are good number of self loathing gays that think the more they protest, the less people will think they are gay.
