Specifically the bill of rights. Whether it's the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th Amendment, It appears as though many are willing to forsake those rights for some security. What is most ironic is that many people who throw around words like Freedom and Liberty are the ones that are most likely to give up these rights. It's odd that as Americans we take pride in being the most free country in the world when we disagree with many of the freedoms we have. Anyone else notice this?

I suppose this tendency is one of the key reasons why the Bill of Rights exist to begin with. Without them rights would simply be a matter of political whim.

I am willing to fight for all those rights.....except the 16th Amendment that is. I would also like to see the Senators elections returned to the states.

I don't agree with your premise.
