Her latest effort is reportedly focused on American values like "family, faith, and patriotism."

The AP reports that, according to the HarperCollins statement, the book will include "selections from classic and contemporary readings" that have moved the controversial Republican. The nation's founding documents will be included, the publisher said, as well as "great speeches, sermons, letters, literature and poetry, biography, and even some of her favorite songs and movies."

Her second book? Gee, I wonder who's going to write this one.

I know it will be published in a paperback edition but will it be published in a toilet paper edition?

I wonder if she's writing the entire manuscript on the palm of her hand. That should help keep the page count down.

She couldn't even name founding fathers other than Washington so whatever is in the book is just some professional writer and her handlers/advisers coming out with a Sarah Palin fluff piece.

I didn't buy her last book, but my grandmother and step mother both were reading "Going Rouge". So, I sat down one weekend, and actually read it, because it made them "so impressed" with her.

I wasn't impressed, I read a work of a lot of fiction, and "woe is me" and Sarah Palin thinking she is Charlie Brown. (Why is everybody always picking on me).

I won't be reading the next one, that was a waste of a perfectly good weekend.

You know she doesn't write these things. She uses a ghost writer. But I am glad to know she can read. (Not sure about her comprehension though.)

Who's going to write it? Well according to the blurb...everyone BUT Sarah:

""""selections from classic and contemporary readings" that have moved the controversial Republican. The nation's founding documents will be included, the publisher said, as well as "great speeches, sermons, letters, literature and poetry, biography, and even some of her favorite songs and movies."

Just more Sarah "I gotta make money anyway I can and ripping off my stupid slavering wet dreaming fans is a great way to do it""

of course I would never waste a dime to buy the book to line the bird cage. What would be interesting from her? she won't tell the truth about how she abuses power to line her pockets Why would I care what lies she would spin?

I took her first book out from my local library, but only ended up reading a few chapters. Political differences aside, it just wasn't that engaging of a book. Books written in response to a sudden increase in popularity tend to not be particularly interesting. I know that I prefer Obama's first book, written before he even entered politics, to his second book written while he was experiencing a rise in national attention. If it were near the end of Palin's career and she were writing a memoir, I might be willing to read it, but as she still appears to have political ambitions, I fully expect any further books to be dishonest in content.
