I'll give a President credit for leading America through good and bad times but I'll never say any one of them made those times.

My vote goes to Al Capone. He should have been president.

FDR, and it is not even close.

Anyone who says Reagan has not studied history and it has nothing to do with politics.

There is absolutely no question.

FDR came into office faced with the greatest Depression in our history and took the steps needed to recover from it. He also faced the greatest military threat to western civilization and mobilized the country to defeat it.

No other president in the 20th century comes close.

Historians lean one way as we know. Just like everyone, what they say is simply opinion.
That being said, I would happen to put him on my list as well. To say, one President stands out more than another, is almost impossible to do:

I would rather name a few: Ronald Reagan (he made us pround of our country again)

FDR, he introduced a few programs, that yes, might borderline on socialism (which I am oppossed to) but at the time they helped us out of a financual mess and he was our President during the war, we eventually won.

Add to the list, Teddy and those would be my picks.

The Roosevelt Boys.

FDR would be first, of course, having cleaned up the worst republican-made mess in history up to his time.

Teddy, in second place, who dismantled monopolies and busted up would-be monopolies that wanted to bleed America dry, and who also gave America its National Parks for ALL citizens to enjoy, not just the wealthy few.

FDR hands down. We are in desperate need of common sense leadership like that in our borderline fascist society.

You weren't proud of our country before Reagan?

Your name isn't really Michelle Obama, is it?

Listen to his speeches from the 80's when he was President--what a great & compassionate speaker!

He defended our country (not apologize for it), economic prosperity via Reaganomics, less taxes, low unemployment, strengthened our military, fall of the Berlin Wall, he made us proud to be an American...
LOL..I guess everybody has an opinion even if it's not based on truth..
