"The school official who nixed a girls' high school basketball team's planned trip to Arizona once supported a controversial program that required ninth-graders to attend a “freshman advisory” class at which gay upperclassmen shared stories of their high school experiences.
Parents who were unhappy with the class were even more outraged to learn that students who attended were asked to sign a statement promising not to tell others -- including their parents -- about what was said in class...."
..."During the seminars, upperclassmen spoke to the ninth graders about a variety of topics affecting homosexual teens, including their own personal experiences -- and all students were required to sign confidentiality agreements swearing never to disclose what they heard.
My son wouldn't be attending any school run in that manner, I don't care what their politics are.
So how long will it take for the report to come out that this school official Suzan Hebson is indeed gay? She's obviously got an agenda that doesn't belong in a public school, I can't wait for this team to come together and go to AZ for this game against the wishes of this power hungry school admin.
I feel sorry for the parents that cannot homeschool their children and get them away from the pervets that have the children in their cross-hairs of perversion.
Teachers are people to, and sometimes no more intelligent the the average bear. When they do something that doesn't sit will with the community, the community reacts and fights back. That's how things should work. Anyone who thinks there can be perfection amongs imperfect people is a fool. There are ALWAYS going to be things that people want to do that others don't want them to. It's ok.

I agree with you on this, but it also sounds like, if indeed the facts are really true, this school official is a little too far out there.

The team seems to be going to a meet in Orlando instead, and the girls on the team were said to be way more excited about going to Orlando than they were about going to AZ-
