Gulf oil spill relatively 'tiny': BP boss - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100514/ts_alt_afp/usblastoilenergypollutionbritaincompanyexecutivebp - broken link)

What's half a billion gallons of oil in the gulf coast. You guys have plenty of beaches in that area. A little grease never did anybody any harm.

For those who are suckers...
On Fox the line read that the exec stated that it's tiny compared to the size of the ocean.

Heck he's right there is still a lot of ocean left to foul up and besides the muck hasn't gotten to where he has a seaside estate.

PS:BP will do its part to ensure that an oil sheen will soon be on a beach near you.

It's big. I was watching the weather channel earlier, and they were showing it (satellite), and it is sizable. Not to mention, winds from the south pushing in the worst possible direction (hey - it's Spring).

They couldn't have given Greenies a more priceless gift.

And the rightists in here complain that Cronkite is a traitor!?! All the while denying that these excutives have "attacked" the US, killed 11 people with their greed, and now are ruining the environment, destroying the jobs of thousands of Americans.....and the rightists will still bow down and adore them.....

If there was to be a large-scale, organized boycott of BP, I bet their executives would re-examine their statements (if not their opinions).

Well, I wonder if he's trying to talk his way out of a job to collect the golden parachute? If he is, then he's doing a good job. Hope he put some ketchup on those designer shoes before putting them in his mouth.

Difference between Cronkite and Tokyo Rose is Tokyo Rose was forced to say what others told her to say. Cronkite said his piece of his own free will. Same with this idiot CEO. Wonder if Obama can loan him his speech writers and teleprompter.

Yeah, it's beginning to look like BP's real plan to deal with the oil leak is to wait for the well to run dry.
