Ah, you DO know don't you that the Islamic Sects that wear burkas and are most restrictive on women are the CONSERVATIVE branches of Islam? They are the Religious Fundimentalists of their religion and you'd be hard pressed to find ONE SINGLE Liberal who's OK with forcing woman to wear burkas.
The fact is - Religious Fundimentalists are ALWAYS on the RIGHT WING of their particular political spectrum - because they are ALWAYS ULTRA CONSERVATIVE for the simple reason that Conservatism is pretty much built around TRADITIONAL CULTURE (whatever that culture may happen to be).

What about all of the fundamentalists on the "left" that worship their Deity, GODvernment? These zealots have committed more atrocities in the history of man than any "conventional" religion. Theocracies are no more evil than "secular" religions of government.

I don't like Obama, but which acts that I listed has Obama endorsed??
Basic Reading 1 - a comma separates thoughts, lists, etc...(Or are you now reading this as a thought is a list????).

I was listing a chain of events...

What is Obama doing now about the terrorist prisoners now in our hands?

Default So where do you draw the line?

In this perfect world where do you suggest we draw the line?..Should we do nothing?

What you are saying is that if someone comes into your house, grabs your mother or sister, and starts to cut their throats - You should just stand there and do nothing?...After all you don't want to become like them, do you?

I'm not so sure that they would bother thanking you for your sensitivity, before cutting your throat... Though maybe I'm wrong - What do you think?

You want to gve us little more facts about what you claim?

How much of the Constitution do you remember? You haven't backed up your assertions that these things are unconstitutional with any facts.

I presume with the "searching law abiding citizens" comment you're referring to the new Arizona law. It's already a federal law that immigrants should carry their papers with them and I think the Supreme Court has upheld it. As to the other allegations you're making, I'm not even really sure what you're referring to. Are we supposed to be playing a guessing game?

I am firmly against the idea of multiculturalism because it is an idea we already see that will eventually tear this country apart.

Quote:
"Can you cite one speck of hard evidence of the benefits of "diversity" that we have heard gushed about for years? Evidence of its harm can be seen — written in blood — from Iraq to India, from Serbia to Sudan, from Fiji to the Philippines. It is scary how easily so many people can be brainwashed by sheer repetition of a word."

— Thomas Sowell
Whenever I ask a liberal the benefits of multiculturalism they usually stutter about a bit before coming up with some insane reason like "there's a real good restaurant offering Burmese food down on 12th and Main Street" or some other hogwash. Try asking it sometime it's always good for a laugh.

It it wasn't for Muslims 3,000 Americans would have lived on 9/11 and I wouldn't be forced to take my shoes off and treated like a common criminal just because I want to get on an airplane.

I am sick of hearing platitudes about how "Islam is a religion of peace" as they try to blow yet another airliner out of the sky killing hundreds of innocent people.

Why the heck is it so many on the left are questioning our very right to exist?

So I'll do you one better, not only should they not be allowed to build their mosque here or even be allowed to immigrate to here because their religion is incompatible with the values of western civilization.

They, Muslims, shouldn't even be here.

Just because so many seem hell bent on committing cultural suicide doesn't mean I have to go along with them.

For the same reason you require genetic diversity in the species, one requires cultural diversity in society.

If it wasn't for Christians...

That's your fault. Don't fly. The security measures are only the appearance of security. [Giving up a little freedom for a little security means you'll lose both] - Benjamin Franklin
