Oh good lord. NO, Einstein. LoL the irony was in my dad's lucky and completely wild guess as to what was in the envelope. Before I opened it I had totally forgot that I had asked the White House for this, so we were both surprised.
Sounds like your "dyed in the wool republican dad" is supporting your butt.
What's ironic? That Obama has time to sign autographs while people are out of work, or that you were bought and sold on sky high rhetoric? Neither sounds ironic to me. Its sounds like par for the course for a President who's still clamoring for some sense of purpose and for those voters who fell for catchy sound-bites and big (meaningless) slogans.
LOL... The photo probably has grass stains on it from being rubber stamped out on the golf course.
So the U.S. government is spending our money to send put autographed photos of Barry? Does it get any more ridiculous than that?
Oh lord.
All presidents have done that since photos were invented. You seriously didn't know that? Or maybe you just think it's ridiculous because it's Obama. Because, you know, you're not racist, you just hate him for his politics.
I will note that President Bush Senior was well-known for responding personally to letters (much like Ringo). When, during his presidency, my mother sent him a letter of sympathy (I forget for what) he responded with a nice letter thanking her.
