If people know it is offensive to tea party members and choose to continue to use it ,then thee must be conclusions about that use of it.
they are using to to marginalize the group .
They are ignorant of the group
They are using it to flame and insult
None of those reasons is an excuse
What about those who continually refer to the POTUS as "hussein obama", always with lower case letters, when many have stated they find that offensive, including some Repubs?

His name should be capitalized as all names should be. Me i am a bad typist or keyboarder as they say these days, might be guilty by typos.
Some where at the top of each party, it's part of their political strategy....it's intentional....then loyalists from each party , buy into it and repeat constantly...as though it were a fact everyone is aware of. There are only two parties, if you can get people to believe your party stands for everything that is good and the other, everything that is bad....that's a whole bunch of people that will remain loyal to whom ever they believe is the "good" party, no matter what that party does wrong....they'll never hold the party accountable for anything negative.
I was not thinking of you. His name is also Barack, not Hussein (his middle name).
But Hussein is his name. For years people called Bush W. That was his middle name. I do see how not capitlizing his name is rude, but its his given name

Liberals called GWB "Dubya" and it wasn't meant in a complimentary way. I see no reason that anyone should be personally offended when someone calls Obama "Hussein", capitalized or not.
Wow, there is no shortage of opinion. It's interesting that several raise reasons why the other side hates. I do appreciate the objective explanations even more -- although they aren't as juicy, they are more substantive.
Here's a follow up. Why do you think your ideological allies use strategies of personal attacks and demonization, and do you think it advances your cause? Or do you think it's the other guy's fault? All the time?
I have found more and more college students on here. They are imature and "know it all", IMO the worst offenders.
