They never went after her children, only her actions regarding them (her parading them around as political tools, her alleged neglect of them for sake of her political career, etc.)
These people are deliberately targeting a very important occasion in his son's life. They're not attacking Rahm for his actions regarding his son, they're attacking his son directly by interrupting a very important celebration. Imagine somebody protesting at your wedding.
But are you really okay with ruining his son's day? If so, you're a very sick person.
I have no problem with it, Rahm has ruined the birthdays and lives of many people around this country. His son should know how evil his father is and if that means ruining his little party then go for it.
