Reading through these forums (Politics and Other Controversies) I see many people called Obama, a Socialist, a Marxist, and a Communist, sometimes a combination of the 3 in one post. So, just so everyone is on the same page, what is he (Is he a Socialist, a Marxist, or a Communist)? Is it safe to say that anyone who claims him being otherwise (say, you say he's a communist but another person says he's a socialist) doesn't know what he/she is talking about and has lost credibility in saying so? Just want to make sure i'm understanding this whole debate but i'm not because I hear multiple answers.
The only thing that's really safe to say in these forums is that there are a lot of people who can't really participate in discussions. But they're much better at name-calling and mudslinging.

You forgot "terrorist" since his middle name is Hussein.
In all seriousness, most people don't know what to call him because the proper term has not been created just yet. I'm sure it will be, though, by the end of his tenure as POTUS. And whatever that term is, he'll take it to the grave with him and the history books will not let it be forgotten.
I describe Hussein Obama as a foreign-born marxist, communist, socialist, collectivist, leftist, and radical islamic terrorist thug bent on world domination and destruction of the Western world and American culture. But he is still my President.

Go USA!
I'm going to assume that was some great sarcasm so bravo
While I appreciate the humor, I would hope someone actually comes out and tells it how it is. Is Obama a Socialist, Communist, or a Marxist? or other? Don't let me put words in anyone's mouth....tell it like it is just so we all know your view on Obama.
Obama isn't any combination of the above. He's just plain ineffectual. I did support him because I honestly thought he would change our nation- our unemployment is still up, the Patriot Act is still intact, we still have legal discrimination against LGBTs, no meaningful financial reform, healthcare was a medicore bust (the only good thing was the ability to stay on your parents insurance until you are 26), we are still in Iraq & Afghanistan... the list goes on.
Because of him I have pretty much lost faith in the political process. I'm not alone, either. But I certainly don't hate him or consider him to be a communist or socialist. That's not necessary to drive home his inadequacies, and because of this ridiculous redneck commentary about him his faults are largely going unnoticed by both his supporters who are busy fighting the teabaggers and his detractors who are... well, they hate him because of insane conspiracy theories. So, what we will have is liberals/Democrats voting for Obama because they are scared of the craziness this nation's right-wing has truly become (I cannot blame them), and the right-wing will vote against Obama because he's a Marxist communist atheist Muslim socialist foreign-born gun-hating black liberal Democrat.
That is a problem.
