Pathetic.
Maher and the rest of the loonies are still PO'd about 2000.

I wonder how Bush and his cabinet (plus the majority Republican Congress) would have been treated if they'd blasted Clinton for 15 months after Sept. 11th. Alas, that didn't happen, in fact they got down to business and didn't whine about "What Bill Clinton left us".

"BOOOOOoooooosh!"

That's funny, I clearly remember 9/11 happening on Bush's watch, not Clinton's.

I do remember a surplus left by Clinton, though.

I know. Tough concept for people who tend to fall into ideological lock-step.

Judging by his past efforts with Katrina probably the latter.
Nice attempt at the deflect. BDS is in your head.

As for the utter cluelessness of Maher's fans you seem to be well versed in his work, but yet still call him a dem? Time to wake up. Take what he says as awareness and not gospel. He only has 1 hour a week last I checked.
They're so dumb they don't recognize his hypocrisy, and the hypocrisy of those who claim artistic integrity yet service the majority party.. Neither do you....

It's a shame that Obama is in the hot seat through these economic times. He will be the scapegoat for many GOP's for years to come which is unfortunate considering the mess JR got the country in. Hopefully the independent party gets some steam by the next election!
Oh, yeah. Poor little Obama. Hey, you wanted change. How are you digging it so far?

Not trying to deflect just give a little more insight into the issue.

When you don't claim left or right I see people tend to call you a hypocrite out of confusion. A bit hard to see the bullseye is it? I support both left and right issues. I also support people who aren't afraid to bring up controversial material and bring qualified guests to back them up.

Obama came into this mess with many more irons ALREADY in the fire than his recent predecessors. We are in different economic times so I've cut him some slack....what's it been 16 months?

Here are a few things I'm proud of Obama supporting. It's a good thing Obama doesn't come from oil money!
A breath of fresh air: Obama’s amazing first year « Climate Progress

Stop the hate and try to support what's logical and not what's in your "parties" interest!

This countries archaic blue/red party needs to fall already. There is a reason why independents make up a 1/3 of the country now. These old stone age rock fights are tieing up our government from getting anything done without fear of losing voters on the left or right side. Total BS and a waste of tax payers money!
HAHAHAHAHAHA -- that's as funny as it gets. Maher is extremely partisan. He does not hold both parties accountable, he is a huge whiner and nothing more when it comes to anything conservative or Republican.

I'm really not sure why he's given all the face time he's given. He's not too clever, he's a Clinton lapdog - so he might criticize Obama simply because Obama isn't his beloved Bill Clinton.
