1. he's admitted to wanting to write a book about the Palins
2. he's rented property that looks into the Palin's property
3. he's a peeping tom
Writing a book is not illegal. That's what he does for a living.
He rented the rental unit lawfully. So what's the problem?
The local police in the article posted by the OP have said he's done nothing illegal. We can't say the same for Palin who is slandering the guy without just cause. The kind of malicious gossip that she's spreading all over the place sure isn't going to endear her to an author who has already got his yet-unwritten book sold. Very short-sighted of Sarah. She should have made friends and wowed him over so he'd write a more favorable book about her.

WOW! Enjoying that apple/orange salad?
Just HOW do you make a comparison between someone legally renting a property, where ever it's located vs. upskirt photos? IF Palin didn't want neighbors she should've bought the property, stop blaming others for problems SHE creates. IF she's gonna enjoy the $$$ of the spotlight she damn sure better be ready to sit in its glow.

He rented the property with the INTENT of spying on the Palin family, including their children. I'd expect such behavior from the National Enquirer but even they didn't resort to this behavior. This is the lowest of scum when he sinks lower than an Enquierer reporter.
Legal still doesn't mean it's ethical. It still doesn't mean it's decent. It was legal to have a slave at one time. By your logic, there was nothing wrong with that because, after all, no laws were broken. Sometimes our laws need to catch up with what's morally right.
She definitely has a civil case on this, as stated in the video clip. I hope she pursues it.
The left is so afraid of this woman. It is amazing the lengths they will go to to destroy her and her children.
This is like Capt Ahab chasing the Great White Whale literally to the ends of the earth.

Really?
Besides Palin's Facebook diatribe, where do you have proof that, "He rented the property with the INTENT of spying on the Palin family, including their children."
Where's the foundation for your remarks? On what basis are you slandering a best-selling author? When has he been convicted of a similar crime?

You've never read any of his books have you. If you had you'd know how naive and unjustified that statement really is. He's not interested in her kids. Put the name of his book together with what Palin in building next door and you might get a clue.................

Actually, she is so afraid of the left, isn't she? Why else go to the lengths she has to demonize a respected author who's nearing 70 years of age? What decent woman would deliberately imply that their new neighbor, close to 70 years-old, is a pervert, peeping tom, spy, stalker, etc.?
She doesn't want to be the subject of his book. But decency would require that she refrain from maligning the writer's character in an attempt to de-legitimize his book before it's even published.

And "intent" is everything. He is not just a "neighbor".
