Please show me where "drill baby drill" said anything different. If you can't, I might suggest you temper your puerile disparaging.

Obama wants drilling where it is effective and safe.
I'll ask you the same thing I asked aveojohn...show me where "drill baby drill is for drilling anywhere and everywhere no matter what the recourse or problem"?

Have you ever noticed how quick some of these people are with things like what Meson did? It makes me wonder about them!!!

They were your thoughts? Because you labeled them as Obama's statements. See the title of the thread. So, are they your thoughts, or Obama's?

The Sestak thing tells me that they have some more butts in the White House to cover and it will take some time.

Even using Bush's name about MMS was nothing but an attempt to cover his own butt for appointing all those unqualified Harvard grads who have been so active in tree hugging.

I guess you have to be something other than an Obama supporter to see some of that stuff.

Sestak is an open wound and will continue to fester. This kingdom is crumbling. Obama does not have the charm of Bill Clinton and will not be able to shake off the oil spill, or immigration or???

That last statement is just what I have been thinking while reading this thread. I think that the some folks you mention may include you and most of the other posters on this thread. Ain't that something?

I agree and the thin veil of competency is starting to unravel. The people Obama has in positions of power were all paybacks for their contribution to his success. They may actually be called upon to perform their job duties and I think that scares many of them. So, I predict more resignations coming soon.

What i heard 0bama say was this

Quote:
But make no mistake: BP is operating at our direction. Every key decision and action they take must be approved by us in advance. I've designated Admiral Thad Allen, who has nearly four decades of experience responding to such disasters, as the national incident commander. And if he orders BP to do something to respond to this disaster, they are legally bound to do it.

So, for example, when they said they would drill one relief well to stem this leak, we demanded a backup and ordered them to drill two. And they are in the process of drilling two
.
But what I found was that a mere 5 days after the explosion, we have news reports that two relief wells were already being planned.

Quote:
The Transocean drilling rig Development Driller III will arrive on location today to drill the first of two relief wells to permanently secure the well. A second drilling rig, Transocean’s Discoverer Enterprise, is en route.

BP Gulf of Mexico Spill Response Accelerating

Seems like he was puffing up his chest as if he told BP they needed to drill two relief wells. The first day we found out that the well was leaking a guy was on TV explaining the same procedure was used successfully in 1979 for stopping a leak like this. I find it pathetic for 0bama to claim he told BP to drill two holes, as if... This is right up there with Hilary's sniper story.

Without being regulated? What in hell was MMS supposed to be doing? I thought that was supposed to be one of those regulatory groups. Maybe they really were created to give some more people access to government computers to watch porn on.

Did Obama say that he was allowing off shore drilling again or not nearly 2 months ago? What ever happened to the investigation into what caused the explosion on that rig? I am starting to think it was terminated for reasons. How about you?
