Did she actually believe he was coming to change how DC works? He IS the most polarizing, divisive, partisan president - evah.

The Associated Press: Analysis: Sestak case smudges Obama outsider image

Quote:
Crimping his carefully crafted outsider image and undercutting a centerpiece of his 2008 campaign, President Barack Obama got caught playing the usual politics — dangling a job offer for a political favor in the hunt for power.

His lawyer admitted as much in a Friday report.
Now, who was that naive to actually believe the slogan? The media? Did they actually believe his "outsider" narrative, even in the face of all the evidence that pointed to the fact that he was a true partisan, divisive insider?

Quote:
Has Obama become just like every other politician?
Oh goodness. He was never anything but.

So, IF he hasn't changed the way DC works, WHY weren't you complaining about his predecessor continually as you do about him?

Which one promised " change you can believe in"

People were complaining about lobbyist and such. How do you think someone with as little experience as Obama got elected. Because people want change. They thought they would get it from Obama. They are now seeing its just a typical politician.

Are you quite certain that the OP did NOT complain about Dubya and his Dem Congress? Many of us (those who are not fooled by the puppet in our White House) certainly did.

My memory may be a tad faulty here, but I sure don't remember the OP jetting around to all 57 States and reading his promises of hope and change off the ever present teleprompters!

I guess you forgot all the promises that were made, the criticism of the previous administration that obama played up during the campaign...only to turn out even worse than his rhetoric of Bush.

Oh yes, this is a good one.

Of course obama's intentions were always pure of heart and well-meaning, of course he was never a partisan.

You mean his intentions of ramming through a multi-trillion dollar piece of legislation on a party line vote against the will of the people - that kind of intention?

You see, many of us were not fooled by his catchy slogans and rhetoric - we knew just what kind of politician he was and is - and the have been vindicated.

I guess you are happy with one man and unhappy with another when as you've said, nothing's changed in the way things get done.

Gee, why is that? Or are you really so naive you believe the promises of a politician, any politicain?

You're constantly saying this, but you err again. He's only the catalyst for all the lovely people who want to be polarized, divided and partisan.

The shining armor is falling from Obama like dandruff.

Liberals are becoming as disillusioned with him as conservatives were with Bush.
