Looks to me like the Israeli's were trying to turn back the flotilla of left-wing "peace" activists trying to break the blockade of gaza.

Wow, just look at those "peaceful" activists attacking the soldiers with knives, iron bars, stun grenades and some other explosive device.

Israel attacked the boat first just like Pirates attack ships at sea. The flotilla was in international waters meaning Israel committed a crime right there, attacking innocent civilians well we all know Israel has experience in that.

The question remains. Why was the original thread closed?????
It would seem that the majority of the world recognizes this sensless attack for what it is. An unlawful attack committed by Israel.

Sorry, but Israel told the flotilla to turn back. They didn't listen. The soldiers weren't descending on the ship to kill anyone, UNTIL the "peaceful" passengers attacked them with knives, clubs, bats and iron bars...oh, and stun grenades and firebombs.

I've wondered that myself. Seems as if whenever there's criticism of Israel something similar happens..not just here, but at other sites as well..

These peace activitists were told to divert to Ashdod where their cargo would be inspected for weapons and the aid would be delivered to gaza, instead they decided to make a political statement which cost 9 people their lives.

My guess would be the personal attacks thrown around.

Yeah seems like its illegal to question the "chosen ones". Eh whatever the truth gets out there no matter who tries to squash it.

Can we tell ships to turn away from Canada? Italy? Spain? France?
They wern't trying to kill people? Then why the hardware?
The people were justified in their response. It seems the world thinks so anyway. The only ones who don't are the those who believe that Israel does no wrong.
