I guess you're unaware as usual of the law in this cause. Check out the Clean Water Act and the Oil Pollution Act. He has the duty and responsibility to see to the cleanup and containment.
Oh, are you also unaware of the fund that currently exists for situations like this?
I guess you are also unaware of the agencies and departments that are already tasked with dealing with such a disaster.
See, everything has been in place for years and obama has dropped the ball big time.
...you're going to ignore the portions of the law you don't like, but by all means tell us about the law....
Yeah, and someone could put a series of clips together of Bush eating hot dogs and playing golf while soldiers died in the wars he started and make a political statement out of it as well. All those events had happened, but is it an accurate portrayal of Bush's handling of the wars? It would just be a cheap, lazy political hit-job that radical liberals would eat up and nobody else would even acknowledge.
No. You can do better than this drivel, Sanrene.
All you radical conservatives need to make up your minds: Do you want the federal government to take over everytime a business screws up or don't you? You can't have it both ways just to win cheap political points. I will just assume you are Socialists with this line of attack. There is no other conclusion to be drawn.
The Obama administration had a reasonable response since the only ones equipped to even try and end it was BP. Why not let the ones with the ability take the lead?
So, yes. Fail. Try again.
I counted 7 rounds of golf in 41 days. Oil spill or not isn't that a bit excessive? A round of golf takes up the better part of a day. That's not even counting his many other vacation days and parties. With all of the issues our country is facing aside from the oil spill I would think that the POTUS would be just a little bit busier than that.
The oil spill is a crisis. There is a sense of urgency there to fix a crisis that is continuing by the minute to devastate the environment. That's just a little bit different than an ongoing war. I'm no fan of Bush either but Obama seems more like the Community Organizer In Chief than anything else to me.
