Oh now, this is hilarious. The POTUS comes to your city and all of a sudden everyone is busy with other plans.

He is toxic I tell you.

Elected officials say no thanks to Obama invite - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Quote:
When President Obama and Sen. Arlen Specter land at Pittsburgh International Airport today, Mayor Luke Ravenstahl will receive them by himself.

The rest of the region's top elected officials declined White House invitations to attend Obama's speech at Carnegie Mellon University this afternoon, their offices said.
And what a speech it was. Telling us exactly how to get the economy moving again.....from the man whose policies are creating fear, anxiety and anger.

Isn't that the same type of intellectual move that got Pittsburgh in the economic butt crack that it's in now?Whether or not you care for the man's politics,he can bring jobs to your town.

That's stinkin' thinkin' Pittsburgh.

If I was running for office, I certainly would NOT seek HIS endorsement!
If I HELD an elected office, I would not want to be seen with him.
But then, I am bigoted and prejudiced; I simply do NOT like him, and I would not want to be anywhere near him, ever, even though I do not hold any office of any kind!

Well, based on obama's record (VA, NJ, MA, Specter), can you really blame any of the vulnerable democrats for fleeing as fast as they can from him and his ruinous policies?

There you go lumping NJ in with those other states. Obama had nothing at all to do with Corzine lost. Geesh, if your going to try and make a point, try a valid one and not false information.

Right, right. He only campaigned for him 5 times, sent staff down to run his campaign, told the electorate over and over and over again what a great partner Crozine was and he would continue to help obama implement his agenda.
