Sorry, but our supposed ally, Turkey, gave obama the royal shaft in his deal with Iran and Brazil.

Is that how Israel was established?
The UN of 60 years ago does not exist.

You thought? I doubt it not when you refer to biased editorials as somehow being absolute truth.
Really, just read this one and tell me what is biased about it. Seems like an accurate account.

Mr. Erdogan's crude attempt to exploit the incident comes only a couple of weeks after he joined Brazil's president in linking arms with Mr. Ahmadinejad, whom he is assisting in an effort to block new U.N. sanctions. What's remarkable about his turn toward extremism is that it comes after more than a year of assiduous courting by the Obama administration, which, among other things, has overlooked his antidemocratic behavior at home, helped him combat the Kurdish PKK and catered to Turkish sensitivities about the Armenian genocide.
Can we now admit that a year of bowing and groveling has paid dividends....to our enemies?

Nor does the world of 60 years ago, do you have a point to make or just a firm? grasp of the obvious?

The UN of today stinks with the smell of anti-semitism. That is just a FACT that is inescapable.

No that's just your opinion. Coming from someone who puts forth editorials as fact it's hardly surprising.

Plenty of FACTS in those articles, but how would you know, you haven't read any of them.

It's easier that way, isn't it? That way you don't have to make admissions.

Oh yes, they are such humanitarians. We have seen their humanity - Darfur, Sudan, Rwanda, Iran, N Korea.

They despise the palestinians just as much as the next guy.

Do you realize that Egypt has in place their own little gaza blockade?

Now, why would that be?

Whilst I understand that the Jewish vote traditionally goes to the democrats because the dems are viewed as and antidote to any right wing party, I thought they (the Jewish voters) would have seen the warnings signs which our chief puppet gave out during the campaign.

Did they somehow believe that they and Israel, would NOT be thrown under the bus ?

I have grave fears for our only ally in that region, Israel. Turkish history provides abundant evidence of the Turks' general lack of humanity.

Turkey is a NATO member and has been a US Ally since before Israel was a state via the 1947 Truman doctrine. On top of that Turkey was critical in containing soviet expansion and hosts US troops. They also supported the US in the 1991 war with Iraq and don't cause problems for the US in the middle east. All in all I would say they are by far the better ally.

NOT anymore.

Their little stunt with Iran and Brazil, deliberately undermining the US with regards to Iranian sanctions is NOT the behavior of an ally.
